All kids deserve a great future.
But too often, the tools and experiences they need — the building blocks of success — are out of reach. The good news? Kids can count on Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio.
We are a team of educators, parents, Club alumni, community leaders, and everyday citizens. We give our time, energy, and resources to help the kids who need us the most.
We are more than an organization. We are a movement.

About Us
History
We began in 1948 as the Westside Boys Club, serving the Franklinton and Hilltop communities. Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio have eight Clubs that support more than 4,000 children and teens in Columbus, Marion, and Newark.
Mission
Our mission is to enable young people to reach their full potential.
What We Do
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio offer safe spaces for kids ages 6 to 18 to learn and grow both socially and emotionally — through comprehensive, affordable afterschool and summer programming. In all that we do, we focus on Academic Success, Good Character and Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, and Socio-Emotional Health.
Members
Each kid comes to us with a unique set of strengths, circumstances, and needs. Our members are accepted, acknowledged, and supported regardless of race, ethnicity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, and religion.
Community
Our donors and advocates provide critical resources to our staff, so they in turn can give kids the tools they need to be healthy and successful. Together, we show our kids that they are capable, worthy, and deserving of great futures.
